18-19 Welcome Back Gilbert 7th-12th

Greetings Eagles!

It’s hard to believe, but the first day of 2018-19 is less than 3 weeks away, and here at EDUPRIZE High School we are hard at work preparing for another fantastic year.

We continue to be the foremost IB World School around with our small classes and excellent faculty.  We continue to grow and are excited to not only add to our physical campus with a brand new Sports and Arts Complex, but also many new families and students joining the Eagle Family.

Please put our Back 2 School Kick Off on your list of important things to do on July 20th. It will allow you to get your schedule, turn in paperwork and pick up PE uniforms. Teachers will be working in their classrooms or helping out in the gym if you would like to meet them during the Kick Off.

We look forward to seeing you on the 20th and to another great year in Eagle Country.  I am looking forward to meeting you, so please stop by and say hello!

EHS Dean of Students and Athletic Director Biography for Steve Boardman

Hello Eduprize! My name is Steven Boardman and I come to you from the Great White North – Canada. Over the course of my life, I have found a wonderful balance between athletics and academics. My previous job, was as a teacher of gifted students at American Leadership Academy. Prior to that, I was the Athletic Director at a local charter school. I have undergraduate degrees in Kinesiology and History. I also have a Master’s degree in History and an Education degree. Over my time spent teaching, I have taught everything from History to Law, English, Science, Math, Geography, Civics, and Physical Education.

What I bring to Eduprize is a wealth of energy, compassion, and a diverse professional and educational background. I believe that no one enjoys doing chores, but everyone loves to have fun. If we, as educators, make learning a chore, we are destined for failure. If we can make learning fun, we are bound to succeed!

I look forward to working with you all and hope to offer some unique educational experiences; I am here to support both the students and the staff. Please feel free to stop by my office to introduce yourself and say hello.
