Guidance Counselor Biography for Mr. Elrich
Mr. Erlich is from the Twin Cities in Minnesota, where he grew up and attended the University of Minnesota- Bachelor of Science in Parks and Recreation Services. Following undergraduate school, he attended the Adler Graduate School- Master of Arts degree in Adlerian Psychotherapy and Counseling. He holds a K-12 School Counselor license in both Arizona and in Minnesota, and holds a certificate in Professional Parent Coaching.
As a Hebrew school teacher, Parks and Recreation Program Coordinator, Fundraiser / Event Planner, Youth Rabbi, and finally, being a Licensed School Counselor, he has watched and helped many children, adolescents and families thrive in and out of the school setting. Mr. Erlich has been a Licensed School Counselor since 2012. During the 16-17 school year, he was with Minneapolis Public Schools at the high school and special education levels.
He, his wife Andrea, who also hails from the Twin Cities, and their 3 year old son Jonah, are thrilled to be in the Valley, to be closer to family, and to take advantage of all the year-round outdoor recreational opportunities. In his free time, Mr. Erlich enjoys playing sports & being outdoors, (holds a special place in his heart for the Minnesota Twins) enjoying time with family & friends, eating sweets, playing the harmonica, singing & humor.

A counseling relationship requires an atmosphere of trust and confidence which must not be compromised by the counselor except where there is a clear and present danger to the counselee or to other persons. The School Counselor may share information gained in the counseling process for essential consultation with other appropriate persons specifically concerned with the student.
