Physical Education

Our physical education program is based on the Pangrazi method.  Focus is placed on teaching specific fitness skills and providing practice through organized activity and games.  Students learn why exercise is critical and how it impacts the whole body and health.  Practicing a healthy active lifestyle is critical to the whole child.

In grades K-6 we integrate what is taught in a regular classroom and practice skills across the grades as appropriate such as skip counting, prime numbers, etc.  Students are fully engaged in physical activity during our program.  Literature shows the important connection to body/mind health and well being, so EDUPRIZE makes physical education a priority.

Units of study include seasonal sports, eye/hand coordination, collaboration, and use of our own fitness trail.
